Flavors add in dried apricots, note of pears, with citrus on the finish. Creamy texture. Fuller-bodied. Absolutely great wine. Enjoyed with Ling-cod over saffron rice with fresh garlic spears & grilled Turkish olives.

Dried plums, red cherries, and classic Italian earth & herbs: thyme, oregano, rosemary. But faint. Super pleasant. Pleasant long finish. Super pleasant acidity. Medium+ bodied. Great fall wine.

Aveleda 2022 Alvarinho •Vinho Verde, Portugal • Reg $14.99 | Mixed Case $11.99 •
100% Alvarinho. This is a co-op wine and is the same grape as Albariño, just grown over the border from Galicia (Spain) in northwest Portugal. White peach, white flowers, citrus with hints of pineapple. Great structure. Dry, crisp finish. Perfect for late summer, early fall.
Batard Langelier 2022 Muscadet Sèvre et Maine • Loire Valley, France • Reg $18.99 | Mixed Case $15.19 • 100% Melon de Bourgogne. Organic. Seashells, stone fruit on the nose. Aged on the lees = richer-style. Add in apple-pear-citrus on the palate. Absolutely great, prickly acidity. Long, pleasantly dry finish. Oysters!
Cartuxa 2022 EA Vinho Tinto • Alentejano, Portugal • Reg $15.99 | Mixed Case $12.79 • Blend = Aragonez 35%, Trincadeira 20%, Alicante Bouchet 20%, Syrah 15%, Castelao 10%. Smells a little like Rhône. Black & red berries, a little wild strawberry, scruffy herbs. Flavors are darker… black cherries, black plums, blackberries with herbal, earthy notes. Good acidity. Not super dry. More fruit. Fuller-bodied for the price. Fun to drink.

Raspberry, strawberry, black cherries, fennel. Medium-bodied. Fantastic (pleasant) acidity. Soft tannins. Note of basaltic on the long, fresh finish. Sexy wine. Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno 2023 Nebbiolo • Piedmont, Italy • Reg $18.99 | Mixed Case $15.19 • 100% Nebbiolo from Langhe. Lighter in body, full of flavor. Soft cherries, dark raspberries, red plums with peppery earth and acidity that lifts this wine up! It’s dry, but soft, easy drinking. Very approachable, lovely wine.

Has an earthiness on the nose (kind of like a Gamay), with notes of dark raspberries & red plums. Flavors are deeper. Black plums & Bing cherries. Light, delicious & fun. Perfect fall wine. Enjoy with mushroom pizza.
Vignerons de Saumur 2023 Saumur Rouge • Loire Valley, France • Reg $18.99 | Mixed Case $15.19 • 100% Cabernet Franc. Aromas of cranberry, cocoa, earthy notes. Super inviting nose. Palate - blackberries, black cherries, pomegranate, dark chocolate, mocha but within a very medium-bodied frame and good acidity that takes you all the way to the finish. Crazy value for a Loire Cab Franc.
