Our knowledgeable wine team is always here to share as much (or as little) as you’d like to know about the wines, winemakers and regions we’re featuring. Hope you can join us!
Our weekly tasting runs 12-3pm on Saturdays. Cost is $15. The tasting fee is waived with a purchase of any wine in the shop (not just tasting wines).

Seafood Wines
Saturday, August 15 (12-3pm)
Join us to taste a lineup of wines that would be terrific with seafood dishes across the board: Guerrieri-Rizzardi Soave (Garganega from Veneto), Nieuwe Haarlem Chenin Blanc (South Africa), Philippe Viallet Savoie Rosé (French Alps), Jean-Michel Dupré Regnie Gamay (Beaujolais), and Domaine Seminaire Côtes du Rhône Rouge.
Cost is $15. (Fee waived with the purchase of any wine in the shop.)

Languedoc-Roussillon
Saturday, August 22 (12-3pm)
Join us for a tour of Languedoc-Roussillon, a French wine region that runs along the Mediterranean from Montpellier to the Spanish border. Here’s the lineup: Pomerols Picpoul de Pinet, Saint-Martin Les 37 Languedoc Blanc, Domaine de Terrisses Gaillac Rosé (not Languedoc, but from nearby South West France), Château de Segure Fitou Rouge, and Bruno Andreu Languedoc Rouge.
Cost for non-club members is $15. (Fee waived with the purchase of any wine in the shop.)
Theme: Wines Abby Wants to Taste!
Saturday, August 29 (12-3pm)
Abby is going to host this tasting as Julie will be out of town, and we are going to taste a lineup of summer wines Abby would like to taste! Here’s the lineup: Faustino Rivero Ulecia Albariño (Rias Baixas), Marco Bonfonte Arneis (Piedmont), Quatre Tours Rosé (Provence), Scotto Zinfandel (Lodi), and Sparkman Kindred Malbec.

September Top Picks
Saturday, September 5 (12-3pm)
Every month Portalis owner Jens Strecker selects his favorite wines for the season, and on the first Saturday of the month, we taste a selection of those wines.
For September, join us to taste: Prosecco Superiore DOCG (Veneto), Sauvignon Blanc-Sémillon blend from WA State (also our Wine of the Month), Ciró Rosato (Calabria), Dão Tinto (Portugal), Médoc Cru Bourgeois (Bordeaux). Hope you can join!

September Wine Club – Pickup Tasting
Saturday, September 12 (12-3pm)
Join us to taste the wines in our September Wine Clubs. We have two: Portalis EXPLORES Wine Club (our everyday wine club) and our Portalis FLAGSHIP Wine Club (our premier club).
We’ll announce the monthly wines once we let our club members know on the first of the month. Stay tuned…
This pickup tasting is for our club members to taste and learn about their wines prior to enjoying them at home. Everyone is welcome to join.
